Spanish marine engineer and human rights defender Sergio Toribio was a crew volunteer on the Freedom Flotilla Madleen mission in June 2025. Afterwards, he filed a war crimes complaint in Spain against Israeli PM Netanyahu and top Israeli officials for the violent attack on the FreedomFlotilla in international waters. He returns now as engineer on board Handala.
