The Freedom Flotilla Coalition sends our heartfelt condolences to World Central Kitchen for the loss of their aid workers, murdered by the Israeli Occupation Forces. We also send our deepest condolences to the workers’ families, friends and colleagues. This latest war crime by Israel impacts aid workers, aid organizations and aid-dependent people throughout Gaza.
We express our respect for World Central Kitchen and its efforts. While our methods differ, we share a common goal of delivering life-saving aid to the Palestinian people in Gaza who are being deliberately starved by Israel.
Despite this egregious attack, the Freedom Flotilla Coalition is sailing soon and we also plan to deliver urgently needed food, as well as medical supplies, to Palestinians in Gaza.
To the World Central Kitchen family, we grieve with you. We call upon the governments of the slain aid workers to demand an independent investigation into this incident, as Israel has a history of attacking humanitarian convoys and exonerating itself. We call upon every government, regional and global institution to respect all humanitarian workers, their lives, physical safety and their work.
