1. So, what happened to the boats that were sailing to Gaza with the much needed humanitarian aid to break the siege?
2. Well, let me tell you what happened…
3. For the last 7 months anesthesia for surgeries, medication for the sick, crutches, food and clean water have been stranded here in Istanbul
4. All of this life saving aid was supposed to go to Gaza
5. whose people have been suffering the consequences of a full blockade for 17 years
6. And like this wasn’t enough that they have been suffering genocide for the past 14 months
7. A genocide that has been live-streamed for the whole world to see
8. Despite the Zionist propaganda trying to manipulate public opinion, the free people of the world woke up and see the hypocrisy
9. In every continent people have taken to the streets as it is clear we are witnessing genocide and ethnic cleansing.
10. Just as it is clear that Israel is a settler colonial and apartheid regime and the US and European states, with a history of settler colonialism, continue arming the Zionist settler colonial project.
11. And that Zionism is at its core a racial supremacist ideology.
12. But Zionism manages to go beyond the borders of occupied Palestine
13. Its influence extends deep into governments that are complicit
14. Even right here in Türkiye.
15. We are at Haydarpasa Port in Istanbul with delegations from over 15 different countries.
16. We are here to support our national campaign in Turkiye who have been resisting here for almost 100 days at the Freedom Watch.
17. Blocking the entrance of the port and chained to the gates to pressure the government to release our boat, the Conscience.
18. Through night and day, heavy rain and cold, people are resisting here so that we can complete our mission and take our ships and aid to Gaza.
20. Through all the bureaucracy we never stopped protesting and doing all that we can to release our boats.
21. We also had other missions trying to get to Gaza and we are continuing to do what we can to overcome those problems.
22. Like the people in Gaza do not give up, neither will we.
22. We know the people of the world are together on this mission praying and hoping we succeed.
23. We will release our boats.
24. We will challenge and break the illegal siege of Gaza.
25. And we won’t leave any stone unturned to deliver the humanitarian aid where it’s most needed.
26. When governments fail, we sail.
27. And we will keep on mobilizing and sailing until Palestine is free.
