Santiago González Vallejo (Spain)

Born, Madrid, 1956. Economist by profession, former trade unionist, now retired.

Co-founder of the Committee for Solidarity with the Arab Cause (formally established in 1986 after years of activity) or CSCA. He is currently a member of this association’s Board of Directors. The CSCA’s objectives are the study, cooperation and development of relations with the Arab peoples, with notable solidarity work and activism. It is part of the Solidarity Network against the Occupation of Palestine (RESCOP) and campaigns in favour of the arms embargo and against Spanish and international companies that profit from the occupation, colonisation and Palestinian genocide, such as CAF, Edreams, Carrefour, etc.

Since the beginning of Rumbo a Gaza, the CSCA has participated in its campaigns and several of its members have been part of the different Flotillas.
