Emma Fourreau (born 1999 in France) is a French-Swedish politician, environmental activist and member of La France Insoumise (LFI). She is the youngest French Member of the European Parliament and began her term on 16 July 2024, having been elected in June 2024 on LFI’s list.
She co-founded the marine conservation NGO Sang Océan and volunteered in Sea Shepherd. In the European Parliament, she serves on the Environment, Fisheries and Women’s Rights Committees. Emma Fourreau is advocating for ocean protection and is a voice of young people for climate and social justice.
She also reported on the fisheries agreement between the EU and Greenland, defending the Greenlandic people against Donald Trump’s imperialist ambitions.
