MOHD ALAUDDIN MOHD ALI of Malaysia is an Emeritus Professor with the Faculty of
Engineering and Built Environment, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). He was an
academic staff of UKM from 1979 until his retirement at 60 years old in 2015. He has been
active with the NGO, Pertubuhan IKRAM Malaysia (IKRAM) since its inception in 2009 being
its treasurer until 2022. He is currently serving as a board member of Yayasan Ikram Malaysia
and Kajian Dasar IKRAM, which are respectively, a foundation and a research centre
associated with IKRAM. He is married to Dr. Fauziah Mohd Hasan of Women’s Boat to Gaza
(WBG). He has been actively involved with the ground support team for the Freedon Flotilla
Coalition (FFC) boat missions since WBG 2016.
