Lykke is 33 years old, grew up on a disused farm near Horsens and now lives in Nørrebro in Copenhagen.
She has a master’s degree in Strategic Design and Entrepreneurship and is a trained yacht skipper, diving and first aid instructor.
She says about sailing to break the illegal siege on Gaza:
“I participate to speak to the individual person. My point is that everyone can make a difference with their own skills – big and small. We are humans, alongside humans, fighting for humans who suffer at the hands of humans.”
